Tea Brewing
Each tea is distinct. To fully appreciate the delicate flavors and unique characteristics of every tea, it’s important to learn and apply some straightforward brewing tailored to your preferences. Keep in, these are suggestions rather than strict rules—only you can determine the ideal way to brew your tea.
Water Temperature
Various types of tea necessitate different water temperatures. Black and pure teas require boiling water, while green and white teas can be scorched by such heat; instead, they should be brewed with water that's slightly cooler, around 165185°F (75-85°C), depending on the specific tea.
Water Quality
Tea has a subtle flavor that can be negatively impacted 'hard' water. Water with a noticeable 'taste' due to additives is not ideal, but this issue can be easily resolved. You can either opt for spring water with a low mineral content or simply filter your water using a filter jug.
Warming the pot
Pour boiling water into the vessel you plan to use, allow it to sit for moment, swirl it around, and then pour it out. If you're using water at the right, it’s wise to maintain that temperature while brewing the tea warming the pot helps prevent the water from cooling down too rapidly.
